You don’t have to be a professional writer to contribute to BuildMobile. What’s important is that you have some expertise in developing or designing mobile experiences, some ability to write, and something important to share with the minds of others. We have a team of professionals that can help you write the story. So, you’ve read our About page and decided you want to contribute.

Content Matters

You have a cogent argument, or case, or technique, pertaining to a particular aspect of building mobile experiences. You can present that case in clear and simple English. You are capable and well versed in the relevant technical aspects of the content matter you will present. We also have to ask that you can guarantee exclusivity of the content to BuildMobile.

Style & Format

Your writing style, and your own voice. Keep it light hearted, but do not fear diving into the details. Explain sufficiently, but make your points then move along. Believe it or not, plain text is the preferred format, ideally a plain text document written with Markdown syntax. You can also submit your content in HTML, Pages or Word formats, in descending order of preference.

Profile & Kudos

Every writer should also submit profile information, which we will publish at the foot of the article. This will include your name and a relatively short bio, the name and URL of your business, and ideally a Twitter link. Many of your respected colleagues and peers will visit the links included in your author bio. Kudos awaits.

Compensation

Kudos and being recognised as a thought leader or technical expert in your field may be recompense enough. However, we additionally offer some amount of money, access to our materials and resources, books and courses, access to the vibrant contributing community of experts, and a good time. Editorial assistance is guaranteed.

Submission Guidelines

If you already have awesome wrapped, email immediately. Otherwise, contact the Editor to discuss the outline of your submission and a means of collaborating on the writing. We will contact you quickly and set your submission on the path to be published. Final edits will be taken care of by BuildMobile as well as publication of your article on the site.
